1.0 INTRODUCTION
Demmy Harmony Foundation is an NGO which is recognizing the critical role of teachers in shaping the future of Tanzania.We acknowledge the need to restore and enhance their value within society. We are committed to bring smiles to teachers by empowering them to improve their professional development, well-being and work life balance, recognition and appreciation and positive work environment ensuring they are equipped to achieve positive outcomes for the community. By advocating for fair compensation, career advancement and continuous support, we aim to bring smile socially and financially assist(retired teachers,volunteering teachers and the general in-service) through collaboration with government organizations, non government organizations, educational institutions and local communities to create a long lasting impact on the quality of education in Tanzania and sustainable growth and development of the nation.

To enhance the professional development, recognition and apprecation and well-being of teachers in Tanzania,advocating for work-life balance and career development while collaborating with stakeholders to improve the quality of education for the benefit of society.
1.4.0 GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF DEMMY HARMONY FOUNDATION (DHF).
Demmy Harmony Foundation is dedicated to address retired an volunteering teacher’s well-being and motivating the currently employed ones by developing initiatives focused on appreciation, support, and recognition—ultimately, bringing smiles to their faces.
1.4.1 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF DEMMY HARMONY FOUNDATION (DHF).
(I) To restore the value of teachers (“Volunteers, in-service and retired teachers”) in Tanzania, recognizing their crucial role in shaping the future of the nation.
(ii) To enhance professional development, work life balance and well – being, ensuring they have positive work environment (tools and support) needed to succeed in their roles.
(iii) To promote a positive and sustainable impact on Tanzanian society by improving the quality of education through empowering teachers.
(iv) To advocate for fair compensation, recognition and career advancement for teachers to foster a motivated and dedicated workforce.
(v) To collaborate with government organizations, non government organizations, educational institutions and local communities to ensure the sustainable growth of the teaching profession.
(vi) To facilitate initiatives that inspire a culture of respect, recognition and appreciation as well as continuous learning within the teaching community.
